After a Break…

In the growing age of Entrepreneurship, and a shift of mindset in most of the people, for a passion to do what they like and what they dream, did I join.

After a lot of “Home” work to convince myself and the people around me, who always have the question of “Do you have sufficient backup?” and “What if it fails?” revolving in their minds, did I began my journey.

If everyone has to start business and dream to become an Entrepreneur only with a backup, then I think not many can and will. You need factors beyond the financials and the brains to achieve it – yes, the “Guts” to do it, irrespective of who ever tells whatever. Not but without the great support of my family in these tough days to support my decision.

“Risk” and “Guts” to achieve something you dream is in everything you do. Be it big or small.

Good were the days initially when I resigned a lucrative high designation career and started chasing my dreams as a corporate trainer. And these lovely days when people around me started calling me “Out of mind” for which I had a proud and happy feeling – For the first time in Life!!

All started well, couple of corporate trainings lined up in different MNCs, giving lectures in colleges, imparting the knowledge with different crowd with people of different backgrounds and the personal growth in knowledge in sharing and getting acquainted with more people in the corporate circle actually felt “Connected” and “Young” – with training given to college fresh grads. A life, beyond the four walls of the sophisticated cabin.

But all that starts well does NOT necessarily end well. Started the gloomy days, when the recruitment’s fell short, MNCs reduced the number of in-takes in which the trained graduates out of the institute could not get into campus placements as fast as they could get in earlier, and obviously the result of it impacted! – Greatly!!

The MNC’s not only stopped providing additional training to the experienced professionals in tools and new technologies but also delayed the commercials which we had to get for the imparted training.

Since it was a better late than never decision, and the amount of satisfaction which it gave in the job was countless along with the people with whom connections are made – who have really become your true pals for life, may be the time the industry went down and several other factors did not favor much.

People who talked around me so differently and who were so far, suddenly came close or even closer, once I had to shift back to the normal culture and get back to my shoes for a regular job.

But, the dream never faded away, and the passion towards it grew stronger. Learning from experiences in the industry what “NOT” to do, helped to grow not only during this tenure, but also during my big career path to achieve being a woman despite all the ODDS.

Always chase your dreams, whether they turn up in a good or bad phase, you have the courage to chase them, and always you have the satisfaction that you “Tried” to do something different from the normal way. And this satisfaction gives you lot of internal peace and happiness in your path of life..like a life without comparison.

Compete and try to bring up the best in you, explore and live for wherever and whichever career or industry you are…with passion, honesty and sincerity.

And Do remember…To dream Always..there is more after a break..!!
